Spoon Knife - Compound Sweep
The current batch are in Walnut or Hickory. The result of years of experience in wood carving and toolmaking, this spoon knife is just the tool for carving the hollow part of wooden spoons. The blade is plasma cut from O-1 tool steel, forged into a hollow, bent into a variable sweep curve, hardened, tempered, ground, handled and sharpened. The double tapered, octagonal handle is made from hardwood and is 6 3/4” long. Included with each knife is a wet-molded leather blade cover.
