Kentucky Belt Axe
The perfect companion piece for your Kentucky long rifle; or your newest favorite companion on a walk in the woods. This little belt axe weighs just over one pound, and has a cutting edge that varies between 2-1/4” and 2-1/2” long. The traditionally styled head is hung on a hand crafted hickory or ash handle that 13” long with a slight palm swell. This axe is forged from a solid piece of 5160, high carbon steel.
The head only option is for a small batch of these axes that you can fit your own custom handle to. This batch has my standard “Lonon” logo stamp.
We do not yet have a blade cover for this axe.
