*Ashford Hatchet
Something similar to, yet a little different from our Kentucky belt axe, the Ashford hatchet is also inspired by early American styling. This little hatchet weighs just under a pound and a half, and has a cutting edge 2-1/2” long. The hand crafted hickory or ash handle is a classic American octagonal pattern and is approximately 12” long. This axe is forged from a solid piece of American made 5160, high carbon steel, hardened and tempered for a lifetime of use.
We do not yet have a blade cover for this axe.
